\nOFFICE Madrid<\/strong> quiere seguir mejorando y consiguiendo aquellos retos que se propone. Como parte del programa de Responsabilidad Social Corporativa y el esfuerzo realizado para acogerse a la normativa en materia de emisiones, OFFICE Madrid y su centro de Negocios en Madrid ha recibido el sello de la Huella de Carbono -de alcance 1+2- otorgado por el Ministerio de Agricultura y Pesca, Alimentaci\u00f3n y Medio Ambiente.<\/a>
\nEste sello cuenta con dos finalidades. Por un lado, refleja la participaci\u00f3n de la empresa en el registro, y por otro, demuestra el esfuerzo y compromiso en la lucha contra el cambio clim\u00e1tico.<\/p>\n

\u00bfQu\u00e9 es la huella de carbono en las empresas?<\/h3>\n

La huella de carbono es la medida del impacto que provocan las actividades del ser humano en el medio ambiente y se determina seg\u00fan la cantidad de emisiones de GEI (gases efecto invernadero) producidos. Puede ser equivalente a la actividad necesaria para la fabricaci\u00f3n de un producto, para la prestaci\u00f3n de un servicio, o para el funcionamiento de una organizaci\u00f3n.
\nPara que una compa\u00f1\u00eda pueda acceder al sello, se llevan a cabo dos procesos. Primero, se analizan las emisiones de GEI de una organizaci\u00f3n, y seguidamente, se realiza un an\u00e1lisis de las emisiones producidas durante el Ciclo de Vida del producto.
\nLa concesi\u00f3n del sello de registro de huella de carbono es una acci\u00f3n desarrollada por el Ministerio de Agricultura y Pesca, Alimentaci\u00f3n y Medio Ambiente, que comenz\u00f3 en el a\u00f1o 2011 como un proceso hacia la lucha contra el cambio clim\u00e1tico.
\nLa medici\u00f3n de la huella de carbono refleja el camino de la mejora y el compromiso de las compa\u00f1\u00edas con el medio ambiente y los stakeholders. Adem\u00e1s, permite a las empresas ser m\u00e1s competitivas y mejorar su imagen y de manera paralela y como objetivo principal, contribuir a una causa social.
